A new chapter for Salford’s riverfront
New homes, improved riverside access with a Pavilion building providing the focus for new commercial and community space to revitalise Salford’s riverside area.
Set between Salford Quays and Manchester city centre, the proposals will deliver more than 800 homes, a Pavilion for community use, and a series of welcoming public areas that open up the riverside for everyone.
Whether you’re looking for a place to live, meet friends, or explore the waterfront, Riverside Place is designed to bring people together and breathe new life into this corner of the city.
Imco Holdings Ltd and Forshaw Group as Joint Venture (JV) partners will bring the new homes to the site alongside the Pavilion building which could include commercial, retail, hospitality, and community use. The proposals follow Forshaw’s successful delivery of Silkbank Wharf, next to the site.
The site on Ordsall Lane will be reinvented as a place to live, meet, work and unwind.
THE SCHEME WILL DELIVER:
- A choice of 808 new apartments to buy or to rent
- A Pavilion for commercial and community use space on the site
- Creating 1,000 new jobs during construction
- £1.7m in Council Tax revenue to invest locally
- Increased local spend by the new residents
- New public space with access to the Irwell riverside
